In 1915, the City of Dallas purchased 36 acres in what was then, far North Dallas, with a vision for the future. A public area that would enlighten and expand the the recreational and leisure opportunities for the citizens of Dallas. Designed to be the Central Park of Dallas, Reverchon Park was was born.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing has remained the same. Reverchon Park is still a welcome opportunity for the people of Dallas. As good as the park is, there is still room for improvement. That's why The Friends of Reverchon Park are working with the city of Dallas to implement the Reverchon Park Restoration and Development Plan. This plan will offer improvements and maintenance opportunities designed to make the park more appealing and functional to the more than 30,000 Dallas citizens utilize Reverchon Park each year.

Reverchon Park has a bright future. Help us, as we work together to restore and revitalize one of Dallas' most beautiful assets.

Thank you.

Once again Reverchon surprises!  Friends! Dirt Cheap Yoga (DCY) has set up shop at our favorite park.

Currently every Monday and Wednesday you can find "inexpensive and/or free yoga classes, promote the cheap and free yoga classes taught by others, provide a venue for yogis (yoga students and instructors) to give back to the community and support existing charities and programs" according to their mission.

DCY is accomplishes this mission by collecting charitable contributions from individuals and companies will be used to offer free yoga classes to adults, and children who cannot afford them, offering yoga classes at a discount for those who can afford low-cost yoga and granting free yoga teaching instruction for individuals who wish to teach yoga, particularly those who wish to teach to minority groups.

DCY is Spanish friendly too!

To find out more about this unique approach to the promotion of yogic principals (compassion, truthfulness, integrity, sensitivity, and moderation) go to and if the spirit moves, send them some financial support.

13th Annual Reverchon Roundup a Huge Success

So much has changed...come back to Reverchon!

Is twitter slowing down the entire internet?

This weekend was a huge success. Congrats to both Dallas Fire Department and NYFD. They split the series for the Rubber Boot.

Getting the game kicked off.

Getting ready for game two. There supposed to be a NYC contingent of fans coming.

From the scorer's chair next to Dan McDowell and Donivan Lewis of the ticket. At #flamefest2009.
